You might be asking yourself, “why should I choose Senneh and Heirloom Images Photography? With so many options for photographers out there, what makes Senneh different?” I am committed to ensuring that your home, design work, and commercial needs are met through beautiful photography and exceptional customer service.

When it comes to homes and real estate, for 95% of online shoppers, the first thing they look at is your listing's front exterior photo. Viewers spend about 20 seconds looking at this photo before moving on to the other photos or listing details. Make that first 20 seconds count. Listings marketed with professional photography have a higher perceived value, receive more online views, sell for more money, and sell more quickly. Beautiful photos trigger an emotional response, and emotion sells.

As with real estate, other commercial services need a strong online presence. Shoppers want to see examples through photography, and will frequently view your website before making contact. The most beautiful cabinetry photographed poorly simply wont sell as well as average cabinetry photographed beautifully.

After finishing college with a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature at Lewis and Clark College, I was determined to experience adventures and explore the world around me. Having grown up with a very successful commercial photographer as a grandfather, I had either a Leica or Nikon camera in my hand as far back as I can remember. My sense for adventure led me to wildland firefighting for the U.S. Forest Service on a hotshot crew, taking me all over the United States during the summers, while leaving me with time off in the winters to explore the world. Throughout my extensive travels through Europe, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Australasia, South America, and the United States, I consistently found beauty, from the smallest cobblestone path to the most ornate temple, from a young child to a native village. My camera was my constant companion, as I preserved those images and moments for years to come.

Ten years ago, I decided to pursue a formal education in photography, spending two years polishing my skills. You’re probably wondering how fire fighting and photography mix. I can tell you that my role as a supervisor for large and complex wildland and prescribed fires is a critical addition to my photography skills—I spent 13 years managing the unexpected and adapting to suddenly changing critical conditions…what could be better for handling a complicated wedding or constantly varied photography sites.

Like many people, my husband and I were drawn to Central Oregon for its recreational opportunities, outstanding climate, and friendly people. Our current adventure is underway with the addition of our son, Kieran, who is now eight.

In addition to my formal and informal photography background, I am a proud member of Professional Photographers of America (PPA), and locally Ceylon Blu Wedding and Event Planning Studio and Central Oregon Weddings.
